de Havilland DH88 Comet
The DH88 was designed, built and flown in a total time of nine months to enter and win the England to Australia MacRobertson Air Race in October 1934. The Comet was a thoroughbred aeroplane, designed and built for one purpose: to travel a long way in a short time in an era when air racing was a very popular sport.  more at www.glue-it.com
